DiSC Profiling
What is DiSC? Why use DiSC? Five common myths associated with DiSC. DiSC Myths

Because DiSC profiles describe behavioural style, they are ideal tools for the work environment. While measuring a person's personality type can be helpful, we can't really ask that person to change their personality. It is appropriate, however, for an organisation to ask people to adapt their behaviour to become more effective in the work environment.

In particular, managers and leaders become more adaptable when they understand the impact of their behaviour on the work environment, and the impact that environment has on employee engagement, commitment and productivity. They learn to adapt the way they communicate and relate to the different motivational needs of the people they work with.

DiSC profiling assessments help HR professionals, managers, and workplace experts to eliminate much of the needless mystery, misunderstanding, and conflict that stop teams from working effectively together.

If you want your co-workers to work well with you and give their best, then you need to be aware of your behaviour and the impact you have on your work relationships. DiSC profiling makes this easy and also describes behaviours that are also easily recognisable in other people. Not only can you develop a better understanding of your own needs and behaviour, you can also build a deep understanding of the people around you, their unique needs and why they behave as they do.

Thousands of organisations - large and small - have transformed their workplace environment through DiSC profiling. A DiSC profile is a people development tool used to identify behavioural style by measuring attributes or qualities of a person and aspects of their personality.
