Phil Gray - Managing Director

Phil Gray is a passionate, effective mentor of leaders, an experienced trainer and developer of people, a great networker and dedicated family man. Phil is a real motivator of people, a great visionary, an ever optimist and a creative communicator and speaker who has had a genuine interest in people becoming the very best they can become.

Phil Gray has enjoyed 31 years in broadcast media [radio], gaining experience in commercial, community, and international broadcasting within 12 different radio station settings and has consulted to dosens of clients in the first decade since starting up Phil Gray Consulting (PGC). Phil Gray is a qualified trainer and facilitator using DDI, MBTI, DiSC, & StrengthsFinder.

The primary aim of PGC is to help clients develop their strategy, grow their people, raise revenue and profile and develop engaging content/product.

PGC offers leadership and workforce development via consulting services – workshop facilitation – mentoring leadership & frontline management. We prefer to provide boots-on-the-ground customised leadership, coaching and mentoring programs developing our clients people and culture resulting in a best practice, more effective sustainable business environment.

We are well equipped to help regardless if it is in mining, construction, health, aged care, financial, education or broadcast media industry sectors.



Nikki McMurray
Nikki has over 30 years experience in the corporate learning industry. Roles ranged from managing registered training organisations to managing the training function within an organisation, developing resource material, facilitating workshops, assessing and coaching for results. Nikki has the ability to take operational human resource concerns and drive improvement via comprehensive outcome oriented training delivery; ensuring performance indicators and feedback mechanisms from all stakeholders are taken into consideration. As an experienced hands-on manager, Nikki has supported the training function across many industries such as manufacturing, engineering, information technology, business services, state and federal government among others, she has the ability to quickly understand an organisation's culture and adapt where necessary.

Dan O'Farrell
Dan is a Chaplain/Coach experienced in lifestyle, relational and leadership skills development. A trainer, teacher, constructing and presenting organisational programmes or specialized topics as required. Also, team development initiatives through group facilitation, workshops and tool box talks, that will deliver desired outcomes and goals. A vision focused, team player and networker that will inspire and promote strength and longevity in an organization. Dan is also a Mental Health First Aid Professional.


Harry Larsen
Harry has had more than 35 years experience within the behavioural training and coaching area. He is a qualified Master Trainer of three DDI behavioural programs. He is also a qualified assessor and coach on assessment centre simulations. Harry's more recent focus has been on acting as a life coach and mentor to senior managers within a variety of industries. Harry is a qualified Master Trainer in DDI programs entitled Interaction Management, Resources Management, Targeted Selection, Assessment Centres (Australia and USA); a qualified professional SPIN trainer from Huthwaite Research Group (England); A Master Trainer in Managing Personal Growth from Blessing White (USA).

Simon Moore
Simon has three decades of corporate and strategic management experience working across government, corporate and the private sector. A strategic planner by background, he has managed global accounts and overseen the development of hundreds of national and international projects with a strong focus on revenue creation, sales development and training, growth and profit strategies, executive leadership, coaching and mentoring, brand management, corporate and stakeholder communication, public relations, human resource management, advertising, marketing and business development.


Brent Harbour
Brent Harbour has 30+ years experience as an On-Air Host, Promotions Manager and Local and Network Program Director in New Zealand, Australia and currently is the Head Of Programming for the Radio 2 Network in the U.A.E based in Dubai. He is a highly skilled and sought after voice over talent. He has voiced countless campaigns for many NZ & Australian clients including a long stint as the primary promo voice for the TV3 network NZ along with relief work for Television New Zealand and Sky T.V.


Luke Holt
For two decades Holt has performed many roles in diverse style of radio stations. From one that converted a house bedroom into a studio to the second largest radio complex in the Southern Hemisphere, Holt has met each and every challenge with success and a smile. He has broadcast locally in a small regional market and a major capitol city as well as broadcasting in Africa, Indonesia, India, and across Greater Asia. Holt has excelled on-air as a breakfast host in solo and team environments, a sports reporter, sports news reader, solo music jock, countdown host, and talk show anchor. His strategic and analytical brain that enables him to connect ideas in ways that will leave people amazed at the creative journey has given him the ability to program radio in such a way that has always surpassed the resources at his disposal. Whether it was a local regional community station, or a multimillion dollar budget international broadcaster Holt has always pushed the boundaries to generate success and excellence in broadcasting.

David Turrell
David Turrell has worked in the broadcast media, fund raising and marketing fields at Chief Executive Officer level for over 30 years. David is also a successful film and TV producer. Until late 2012 David was the Chief Executive Officer for Christian Media Australia, the peak industry body for film, radio, TV and production. David specialises in high end fundraising (including donor acquisition strategies), media production, radio sales and marketing, grant writing, leadership development and training.
